How will I be contacted if my Child is successful in obtaining a place at a local Group/Unit?

You will be contacted using the details you provided at the time of submitting your child’s details through our website. This will be done by the Group/Unit that is offering you a place usually by email.

By providing your details through our website you agree with the storage and handling of your data by Mersey Weaver District Scout Council for the purpose of applying for a youth membership place. Documents relating to this can be found here. 

In order to be able for your young person to benefit from Scouting more quickly you may be offered a place at group from within your "catchment area" which was not one of your preferred groups when completing the application.
