Office365 Account Entitlement
We utilise industry leading Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise for Non-Profits platform for our email, document storage, collaboration and online conferencing tools. With the features that Office 365 provides, as a District we are able to provide it to our Groups and Units for free. Equivalent business tools and hosting would normally cost thousands of pounds year.
All adult volunteers who are members of Groups/Units in Mersey Weaver Scout District, e.g.

- 1st Newton and Kingsley
- 1st Weston and Weston Point
- 3rd Frodsham
- 3rd and 9th Runcorn

- 8th Widnes
- 10th Widnes
- 12th Widnes
- 14th Widnes
- Aquila Explorer Unit
- Beacon Explorer Unit
- Cestrian Explorer Unit
- Draco Explorer Unit
- Young Leader Unit
and full members of the Scout Association are eligible for a Mersey Weaver Office365 account and email, i.e:
- Group Scout Leaders and Assistant Group Scout Leaders.
- Section Leaders.
- Assistant Section Leaders.
- Section Assistants.
- District and Group Executive Members
- District Commissioners
- District Team
- Active Support Managers and members
Young Leader and Explorers are eligible for for a Student licence of Office365 account and email with the following domain name:
first name.lastname@explorer.mwscouts.org
The following are not eligible:
- Occasional helpers
