Where can I light fires at Queen Charlotte's Wood?
Please use an altar fire and place it to the edge of your site. Alter fires are stored behind in the wood store in the lay-by opposite the main activity field. We ask that you return them to there after you have finished with your altar fire. If you would like a large campfire for entertainment, please book one of the two campfire circles. If you do use the campfire circle, please clear away ashes into the metal bin and remove any rubbish after use.
There is a limited quantity of firewood in site. If you require a lot you are advised to check with the manager first or bring you own (no pallets please). Any wood surplus to your needs should be stacked neatly in the wood store.
Please avoid placing hot pans & barbecues directly onto the grass. This scorches & leaves an area of dead grass.
