Does The Hideaway have an automated Fire Alarm?

The Hideaway has an automatic Fire Detection and Alarm systems installed.

All bedrooms and communal space are fitted with smoke detectors. Kitchen area is fitted with a rate of rise of heat detector. 

When a detector senses smoke, or sudden increasing rate in rise in temperature of the kitchen area, the monitoring system will automatically trigger the electronic alarm sounders around the building and visual alarm beacons in Bedroom 1. Those who are audibly impaired should sleep in bedroom 1.

All actviations of the system should be treated as a fire event.

The system is setup to notify the bookings manager if the alarm initiates but it is not setup to notify the Fire Service. In the event of a Fire please ensure you phone 999 from a safe place.
